DSWC Historic Preservation Club meeting

The purpose of our get together is to discuss what the Historic Preservation Group might be and might do.  Here are some of the thoughts we had:  coordinate a tour of the Pound House, inviting any of the club interested to come; similarly, coordinate a walking tour of Mercer Street with one of the original Dripping Springs residents (such as Charlie Haydon) describing what the buildings were originally and invite others in the club to come; meet with the City staff to see what the plans are for preserving Mercer Street and ask if there is something we could do to help.

Contact Claireen Fellers if you are interested in attending (and for location of meeting) and joining this group.
